Privacy Policy

The short version
NoiseOut processes all audio entirely on the agent's local Windows PC using on-device AI. We never receive, store, or process any call audio. Zero audio leaves the agent's machine. Only heartbeat status signals (agent name, noise level, connection status) reach our servers.
1. Who we are
NoiseOut operates the NoiseOut service available at noiseout.net. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@noiseout.net.
2. What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (hashed) when you sign up.
- Billing information — payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
- Agent heartbeat signals — each active agent machine sends a periodic status signal containing: computer name, Windows username, local IP address, Windows version, app version, noise level reading, and connection status. No audio data is included.
- Free-trial device code — for free-trial accounts only, the app sends a one-way scrambled code derived from the computer's Windows ID (the ID itself cannot be recovered from it). We use it solely to allow one free trial per computer, and delete it automatically after 12 months. Paid accounts are never recorded.
- Accent coaching scores — when an agent practises a script line, only the scores (overall, per word, and speaking pace) are sent so managers can see progress. The recording itself never leaves the PC.
- Usage data — seat counts, plan type, and subscription status.
- Log data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging.
3. What we do not collect
We explicitly do not collect the following:
- Call audio or voice recordings of any kind.
- Conversation content or transcripts.
- Customer data from your callers or contacts.
- Any audio processed by the on-device AI models (noise cancellation, pronunciation checking, practice voice).
All noise cancellation and accent coaching AI runs locally on the Windows PC. Practice recordings are checked on the device and discarded; only the resulting scores are sent.

7. Security
